Best Places to Buy a Home in Metro-Atlanta Georgia

When moving to the Metro-Atlanta area many people who do not know the area want to know where the best places to relocate. There are many fine areas but more often than not many choose to live where the housing is affordable, the schools are rated high, and in a centralized location in relation to the job market. Some of the best places considered to live are North Fulton County (includes Sandy Springs, Roswell, & Alpharetta), East Cobb (Marietta),  and Cherokee County (Woodstock & Canton). This North to Northwest quadrant of Atlanta has many benefits for those buying real estate in metro-Atlanta.
North Fulton County has many good schools and the location is central to I-285 and many of the good paying jobs located in the Dunwoody and Alpharetta area. Since a great percentage of jobs are located near Perimeter Mall and North Point Mall, Roswell Real Estate and Alpharetta Real Estate has been very hot over the past decade. If you are thinking of buying a home in Roswell or Alpharetta but your price point is below $200K then you may want to move a little West to Woodstock (Cherokee County), where the taxes are low and home owners enjoy larger homes.
One of our top picks to live is also East Cobb Marietta which gives you best of the both worlds- excellent location, the best schools, and low taxes. Just adjacent to Fulton County and the Sandy Springs area lays East Cobb Real Estate. Walton & Pope high school districts make East Cobb a very attractive place to live, as well as a clean and well developed area of shopping and dining. Homes prices are slightly higher than the average, (similar to Roswell & Alpharetta), however the low property taxes has been one of the key factors to why so many people love to live in East Cobb.
Cherokee County has two cities which share the majority of home ownership- Canton and Woodstock. Canton Real Estate is a little further north than the city of Woodstock Real Estate but both similar in price points and neighborhoods.

If you are considering buying in any of these areas, give Rebate Realty Pros a call and let us help you make the smart move!
